I did a pic with Kris having a laugh at her replacement (and her anime counterpart Marina doing the same to said replacement's anime incarnation) and a pic with Hilda having a laugh at her successor, so this seemed like such a natural third installment. 
I don't think I'd ever find a single "Pokemon" fan who is NOT peeved about new characters Verity and Sorel taking the places that rightfully belonged to Misty and Brock in the 20th anniversary movie "I Choose You" (except for haters of the original characters). And Verity, the grotesque fusion of Misty, Dawn, the Gen V heroines, and Bonnie, is SUCH a blatantly poor replacement for Misty and an unworthy successor to her legacy, and compared to Misty's Gym Leader-tier skill with Water Pokemon, she likely couldn't have her Piplup battle it's way out of a paper bag in comparison! So this is naturally how run-in with Misty would go for the new girl. - with the tomboyish Cerulean Gym Leader rolling on the floor and cackling up a storm, so hard and hysterically that she's shedding tears, wetting her shorts, and her skin is flushing as red as her hair, if not redder! Verity is a pushover devoid of heart and passion, and Misty can see that all too clearly!

Verity is anything minus "nice", and by nice i meant no one liked her because she replaced Misty in the movie... (even if Misty did appeared on the movie as a "secret" character at the end...)
