Kaede Motivational

To keep it short, Kaede is a very, very gray area character and is so complex morally, emotionally, and psychologically that she can't be classified as simply a "good" person or an "evil" person. At her core, Kaede is not entirely either. She's just a broken girl starved for affection, acceptance, home, family, and peace of mind that she's never had her entire life. Kouta understood this, and that's why he couldn't hate who Kaede used to be and truly was deep down any more than he could hate Nyu. And while she may have become an unforgivable monster up until the end of her life, there can be no denying the complexities of her character and all the interesting story aspects that come from her messed up psyche and actions influenced by it.
